Plug in the Jtag USB beside the power connector and the UART USB on the otherside of the power connector.
JP7 - JP11 should be “down” connecting SIG to GND.
Power on the Zedboard and you should see to USB devices connected.

Install the JTAG drivers
- https://store.digilentinc.com/all-products/software/
- select Digilent ADEPT, select Download
- Download and install Runtime and Utilities
- select Digilent Plugin for Xilinx Tools, Select Download
- Download the libCseDigilent plugin tar file.
- copy Digilent plugin files
  - from libCseDigilent_2.5.2-x86_64/ISE14x/plugin
  - to SDK/2015.1/lib/lnx64.o
  - to Vivado/2015.1/data/xicom/vcse_plugins/lnx64.g/Xilinx/libCseTcfPlugin
- sudo udevadm control -R
- djtgcfg enum “if this detects the Digilent Zed” the reboot is optional
reboot after
djtgcfg enum “should find Digilent Zed”
