Tool Access Control & Operation System (TACOS)

What is TACOS?

TACOS is a work in progress.

TACOS is a tool intended to make managing tool access easier. TACOS will allow VHS and hack-/makerspaces in general to install interlock devices on hazardous tools and more easily manage securing access to those tools for trained users.

The VHS Laser Cutter is a great example of an interlock system. TACOS aims to provide a generic alternative for tool specific interlock solutions.
